Jaime Lamas was educated with the Jesuits. He combined his studies of law at the University of the Balearic Islands with international law at the University of Vienna. He studied foreign trade in Barcelona and worked in a law firm in Hannover, Germany. He has written numerous legal articles in different newspapers and magazines and has been a speaker at several legal conferences in Spain, Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Jaime Lamas represented Austrian consular interests for 10 years as Austrian Honorary Vice Consul in the Balearic Islands.

Lawyer, law degree from the Universidad Nacional Española a Distancia (UNED).
Master’s degree in German-Spanish comparative law from the University of Granada.
Since 1999 she has been working as a lawyer in the law firm Despacho Lamas.
Prior to this date she worked in prestigious law firms and as a legal notary official in Mallorca. She has handled numerous real estate law cases, as well as specialising in tax law and inheritance law between Germany and Spain.

Economist
Antonio Bosch holds a degree in economics from the University of the Balearic Islands and is a technician in electrotechnical and automated systems from the Arxiduc Lluis Salvador vocational training institute in Palma de Mallorca. He began his career in the firm in November 2000 collaborating in the corporate and accounting department. Since 2004 and until today, he has been working exclusively in the property administration department.
Economist
África Lamas is an econmist and advisor at Despacho Lamas since June 2018. After graduating with an honours award from IQS Business School with a degree in Business Administration and doing a BBA exchange programme in the University of San Francisco, she completed a postgraduate degree in Auditing and Accounting (Pompeu Fabra Barcelona). From 2016-2018 she worked at Price Waterhouse Cooper (PwC) as an auditor. In addition, she is memeber of Beta Gamma Sigma honorific society and President of Rotaract Mallorca, Rotary club partner, which is focused on service and help to the community.
Africa is bilingual in Spanish and English. Additionally, she speaks German and Catalan.

Legal Advisor
Malu Lamas is an economist and advisor at Despacho Lamas since March 2019. After graduating from ESADE Business School with a degree in Business Administration, she completed a Master in Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the same university. She combined her studies with an internship at the Spanish Consulate in New York, at the CBRE real estate consultancy and completed an exchange program at Tsinghua University in Beijing. From 2016-2019 she worked at Deloitte M&A transaction services in the Real Estate and infrastructure department.

Economist and Project & Hotel Management
After graduating and completing postgraduate studies in International Hotel Management, he has worked in the Management Department of “Royal Cupido SL” for “Iberostar Hotels & Resorts”, as well as in the Operations Department of “Frasers Hospitality” in Berlin.
Since 2021 he joined the Home Management and Property Administration Department at Despacho Lamas, applying his extensive knowledge of hotel management to the administration of our clients’ properties.
Fluent in Spanish, English and German (Goethe Institut certificate).

Alberto Lamas joined Despacho Lamas in 2022, after having worked for two years in the Urban Planning, Corporate/M&A and Real Estate departments of a prestigious international law firm. Prior to his incorporation, he also worked in a technological multinational in the tourism sector and in a construction company located in LATAM. He studied a bilingual law degree at IE University (Madrid), did his exchange programme at the University of Central Florida (Orlando – Florida – USA) and, thereafter, did a Double Master’s degree in Corporate Law and for Access to the Legal Profession (Bilingual LL.M) at IE Law School (Madrid). Currently, Alberto Lamas is involved in a diverse range of real estate transactions and legal proceedings.

Member of the Il·lustre Col·legi d’Advocats de les Illes Balears, Graduate in Law at the University of the Balearic Islands and Master in Law at the University of Seville. She has worked in several well-known companies focused on real estate law and the foreign market, so her areas of specialisation are real estate and urban planning law, with special emphasis on foreign investors, as well as corporate law and inheritance of German citizens in Spain.
In addition to Spanish and Catalan, she is fluent in English, German, French, Czech, Bulgarian and Slovak.
